A drilling training centre and expert in IWCF (Well Control & Well Intervention) certification in France and abroad (Angola, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, United Arab Emirates, Gabon, etc.), EFF Training offers training courses combining theory and practice in its well school, both face-to-face and distance learning, using its e-learning platform.
EFF Training designs training programmes for all companies wishing to train their new employees and help them carry out their role on a rig safely and efficiently, whether as an operator or a drilling contractor.
The training centre is now diversifying into surface drilling training for geothermal applications.
WELL CONTROL LEVEL 1
Training designed for people interested in drilling and completion operations whose activity may involve the detection of an occurrence.
WELL CONTROL LEVEL 3 & 4
Training designed for all personnel involved in drilling and completion operations involved in kick detection and well control.
PREPARING FOR WELL CONTROL
For those wishing to obtain IWCF certification, we offer preparation for the course: fundamentals of mathematics and physics applied to drilling.
WELL INTERVENTION & PRESSURE CONTROL
Training tailored to drillers, drilling supervisors, well service supervisors and well intervention supervisors.
Introduction to deep geothermal drilling practices
Training aimed at all new personnel destined to work on a drilling unit as well as all new floorman and surfacers who will be working on the floor.
Technical skills improvement programme
An evolving programme, comprising a number of courses tailored to the level of the professional and the position he or she occupies, from floorman to site manager, in order to encourage career development.
Surface geothermal drilling assistant
Training that prepares you for the basics of the job, which will involve drilling wells on probes and groundwater for geothermal energy.
HSE FOR DRILLING
This course is aimed at people responsible for promoting a safety culture on drilling sites: identifying the various risks, managing these risks, specific equipment, etc.
Specific drilling & well programmes
EFF Training develops specific training programmes for its customers, drilling contractors or operators, aimed at all those involved in the drilling value chain, such as drilling and well engineers whose mission will be to supervise drilling operations (deploy HSE procedures, set up drilling programmes, manage service providers, report on results, improve processes), geologists, service companies, support teams....
These tailor made training courses are customised at the customer's request on the basis of a set of specifications. We listen to the customer's needs and draw on our experience of deep drilling to build a tailored programme together.

7 training rooms specially equipped for theoretical training.
Simulators
3 drilling simulators (DS5000, DS20) including a cyber chair to use the latest drilling technologies.
Training rig
An IDECO H35 drilling rig and its 928 m deep well, as well as a showroom dedicated to equipment, all located on our yard.
INSTRUCTORS
Experienced instructors and other specialists, all oil industry professionals who have worked on platforms for years.
