This course is aimed at drilling personnel wishing to obtain IWCF blowout control certification.
prerequisites
The candidate must have basic technical knowledge of the oil industry and initial experience on site. They must be able to read, calculate and know professional vocabulary.
Well Control Level 2 certification obtained
OBJECTIVES
- Obtain the fundamentals of mathematics and physics applied to drilling
- Understand the relationships between pressures in the circulating well
- Recognising the causes and signs of kicks
- Prepare preliminary calculations to control the arrival of the kick
- Handling the simulator for the case study
- Preparing for IWCF Level 3 certification (Driller)
