IWCF - well intervention & pressure control
LEVEL 3 (SUPERVISOR) AND LEVEL 4 (SUPERVISOR) SURFACE & SUBSEA
PUBLIC
This training course is aimed at all personnel involved in well intervention operations (wire-line, coiled-tubing, snubbing and completion) and well detection, as well as those involved in planning, supervising or carrying out well interventions (engineers, supervisors, team leaders, operators, etc.).
PREREQUISITES
The IWCF recommends significant experience in pressure control, required to work as a Workover operator or as supervisory staff.
OBJECTIVES
- Understanding the impact and consequences of a pressure control incident
- Understand the control of pressures on the well (completion operation)
- Knowing the required well integrity criteria
- Knowing the right equipment for completion operations
- Use the different intervention methods and be familiar with their equipment
pedagogical means
- Facilitation by an experienced and accredited IWCF trainer
- Training room equipped with an interactive video projector (face-to-face)
- Course facilitation and presentation via an interactive workspace for real-time collaboration and communication (remote)
- Access to our online exercise platform (Moodle)
- Computer/tablet for Moodle access (classroom use)
- Provision of teaching materials (course aids)
